TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
All renters and authorized drivers, as designated by ANASCARS on the front of this contract, must be at least 21 years old (with a valid driver's license for at least one year), provide their identity card (or valid passport), and hold a credit card. Vehicle tracking is provided for a fixed period specified on the front of this contract. A tracking day is defined as 24 hours, starting from the time the vehicle is picked up.
Any day started is due in full. ANASCARS reserves the right to terminate the rental and recover the vehicle by any means without justification or compensation if the renter fails to comply with any of their obligations under this contract or if a payment issue arises: bounced check, declined credit card, or exceeding the number of rental days authorized by this contract. In any case, the customer must have paid for the entire rental period before taking possession of the vehicle.
Upon delivery of the vehicle, the renter and authorized drivers become fully responsible to ANASCARS for the complete fulfillment of these terms and conditions.
2. Vehicle condition
The tenant may not under any circumstances claim damages ANASCARS ANASCARS disclaims all responsibility for illegal uses of the cars by the tenants. Optional guarantees and additional insurance: the renter is covered according to the general terms and conditions of the insurance policies taken out by ANASCARS , namely: accidents caused to third parties according to the deductible and civil liability, for fire and theft of accessories, clothing and all items inside the car and trunk, the driver remains his own insurer, the client must return the police or gendarmerie report duly completed and failing that, bear all costs for repair of the vehicle up to the deductible, the client must under no circumstances discuss the responsibility for the accident, nor settle with third parties or do anything that could hinder or commit the insurance company in the settlement of the claim, the renter is responsible for damage caused to the lower parts of the vehicle for any reason whatsoever even if he has purchased the CDW deductible waiver.
The lower parts refer to the components located under the chassis:
Damage to the interior of the vehicle.
Damage to tires and rims.
Radiator, driveshaft, etc., which are not covered by the insurer.
The renter is also responsible for any damage to the windshield, or any other broken glass or signal lights. Furthermore, the renter forfeits coverage for theft, fire, and damage to the vehicle if the driver is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that impairs the reflexes essential for driving.
WARNING: You cannot, in particular, use the location vehicle:
To rehire
To transport passengers for remuneration or for compensation
To transport a number of people greater than that mentioned on the vehicle registration certificate
Participating in gatherings, competitions or events, wherever they may be
Giving driving lessons
Pushing or towing another vehicle
On a route unsuitable for motor vehicle traffic, or whose surface or condition presents risks to the tires or parts located under the vehicle;
To commit a national/international offence
Driving the vehicle off-road, in the mountains, etc…
AnasCars allows pets to travel in its location vehicles. However, cleaning and maintenance fees may apply.
Goods and luggage transported in the vehicle, including their packaging and securing, must not damage the vehicle or pose unreasonable risks to its occupants. When parking the vehicle, even for a short stop, you agree to lock the vehicle and use any alarm and/or anti-theft devices with which the vehicle is equipped (if applicable).
You must never leave the vehicle unattended with the keys in the ignition. Failure to return the keys will invalidate the theft waiver. In the event of damage or theft, you must send the company the accident report or the police report issued by the authorities as soon as possible, along with the keys and vehicle documents.
3. Mechanics
Normal wear and tear is the responsibility of ANASCARS . All repairs resulting from abnormal wear and tear, customer negligence, or accidental damage will be the customer's responsibility. Replaced defective parts must be presented with a paid invoice showing the full cost of the repair.
4. Tires
The renter declares that the car's five tires are in good condition, without cuts, and that wear is normal. Should any of them be damaged for a reason other than normal wear and tear, the renter agrees to replace it immediately with a tire of the same size and brand as those originally fitted to the rented vehicle.
5. Caution
1 – Extension Deposit
The renter will pay in advance; the security deposit they provide cannot under any circumstances be used to extend the rental period, even with a corresponding payment, under penalty of legal action for vehicle theft and breach of trust.
However, the rental company reserves the right to refuse any extension of the rental period, in which case the renter will be required to return the vehicle immediately.
2 – Deductible deposit
The deductible is the amount you are responsible for in the event of an accident or damage covered by insurance, when you are at fault. This amount varies depending on the vehicle category and location conditions.
Common problems with the franchise:
Lack of clarity: Many companies do not specify the exact amount of the deductible or use vague percentages adapted to the value of the vehicle.
Ambiguity: Customers do not know the true value of the car, which makes it difficult to estimate the deductible.
Unpleasant surprises: In case of an accident, unexpected costs may be added.
At Anascars , we believe in transparency. We clearly explain the deductible amount in our terms and conditions, without ambiguity or surprises.
How does franchising work at Anascars ?
10% deductible: At Anascars , the deductible is set at 10% of the vehicle's value. This percentage is clearly stated in your rental agreement.
No surprises: You know exactly what to expect in the event of a disaster.
6. Theft Insurance
The renter is insured against theft, but this coverage is only valid upon return of the keys, vehicle registration document, and other documents required for driving, as well as a theft report completed by the police or gendarmerie. The deductible remains the responsibility of the customer.
7. Return of the vehicle
The vehicle must be returned during the opening hours of the rental agencies, on the date, at the time, and at the location specified in the contract.
The vehicle must also be returned with all documents, equipment, and accessories required for operation.
If the renter cannot return the vehicle registration documents or keys, they will remain liable to ANASCARS for the days the vehicle is out of service until they provide a certificate of loss, as well as the cost of issuing a duplicate certificate.
Fuel: With our “Same as Same” policy, you will receive the vehicle with a certain fuel level and we will ask you to return it with the same fuel level at the end of your rental period. This simple policy guarantees worry-free fuel allocation.
8. Fines and penalties
The renter and/or authorized driver(s) are responsible for any fines, tickets, and reports issued to them. They agree to reimburse ANASCARS for any amount paid upfront.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid under any applicable law, that provision will be severed without affecting the remaining provisions hereof.
9. Confidentiality and data protection
ANASCARS is the data controller operating the website www.anascars.com . The information requested is necessary for processing your order and is treated confidentially. You have the right to access and rectify your personal data.
This information is intended exclusively for the use of ANASCARS and its subsidiaries. It will therefore not, under any circumstances, be made available to third parties. User contact details are used only to better inform them by sending them the information they wish to receive, after their consent.
The retention period for this personal data by ANASCARS , the data controller, complies with current regulations. The recipients of the data are authorized personnel who are aware of their legal obligations regarding the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
In accordance with Law No. 09-08 promulgated by Dahir 1-09-15 of February 18, 2009, concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access and rectify information concerning you. 10. Payment terms
Payment for your rental can be made online on our website or at the time of vehicle collection.
Online payment will soon be available on our website.
If you choose to pay in person, please note that customers must present their credit or debit card. This card must be in the name of the primary driver, be valid on the scheduled vehicle return date, and, if the vehicle was pre-booked, the card presented must be the same one used for the booking.
The rent is payable in euros and can be paid by one of the following accepted payment methods:
Credit or debit card: We accept various cards, including bank cards and credit cards (Carte Bleue, Visa, Euro-Mastercard), as secure payment options.
Caution: A security deposit is required for the rental. It will be refunded once the vehicle has been returned in satisfactory condition. Each vehicle has its own security deposit, which is detailed during the booking process.
Cash: We also accept cash payments (euros) and customers can also leave a cash deposit.
Our rates include unlimited mileage, lubricants and vehicle maintenance, as well as vehicle delivery and collection services. All our prices are expressed in euros.
11. Cleaning fees
We remind you that smoking inside the car is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in a specialized cleaning fee.
12. Cancellation Conditions
Up to 48 hours before arrival, free of charge.
